YOUTH CAMP!!

Totally pumped and excited. I miss going on camps, that is the only problem when you finish school…no more camps to go to and have fun. Its been like 6 years since I last went on a camp. Will blog when I get back! BLAH!! I don’t think that I will be able to sleep tonight…I will end up going to bed at like 12midnight or something like that…and then wake up at 2am, feeling as though that I had slept for 12 hours.

Still Waiting…

I am still waiting for October to roll by. The organisation emailed me last week to let me know that they have received all my pre-employment checks and that it is been reviewed, and final sign off by the general management. So there is still at least a week left of waiting. Will let you know what happens when I find out anything.

I have taken up tatting. It keeps me busy when I have nothing else to do. When I finish the bookmark that I am doing I will put up a photo of it, prob won’t be at good, as it is my first tatting project.

Is it a Good Thing?

I’m wondering if it is a good thing. I attended a job interview today, and received very positive feedback during the interview. I’ve been asked to forward some contact details for some referees, so I’m somewhat guessing they liked how I performed in my interview.

Although I am slightly concerned about whether I actually want this particular job. It was all exciting until the end of the interview when I was told what sort of work I would be expected to carry out. I’m just not really sure if it really is me. You know how you have a gut feeling about a job, my gut is telling me it isn’t what I’m really after.

I’ll just have to think about it, and sit on it for a few days. I’ll let you know what happens.

Well…that last job that I spoke about…It just wasn’t meant to be. I didn’t get it. <> but I guess I can think of it this way, that they were considering me, as they had called up my manager for a reference.

Anyways…something ended up turning up. I got through the assessment centre, and then I got to go to this Meet & Greet. It was very helpful, I got to know more about where I would potentially be working. And it has got me so very interested, that I would like to start…like NOW! Next day I got an email informing me that I needed to go through the pre-employment checks, which are the medical assessment and the criminal check. I had my medical last Tuesday…so now I just have to wait for the notification if I am successful or not. They said at the Meet & Greet that it wouldn’t be till about October. So since I know that they wait is that long, I can put it on the back burner for the time being and concentrate on other things…like the ministry work at church, and WEDDING!!

Speaking of weddings, my brother got engaged. I have been thinking more about our wedding, and we have decided a tentative date of 12/03/2011. 18 months away. And I was thinking of maybe have the colour of my bridesmaids teal. I quite like that colour. But that too is also undecided.
